MFN is a no cost parenting education and family support organization. All families who reside or work in Medford are eligible to participate in a number of activities and events including: parent education workshops, E.S.O.L groups, age specific structured play groups: intergenerational and S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). Melrose: Melrose Family Room

The Melrose Family Room is a non-profit, cooperative organization providing a gathering place for member families with infants, toddlers and preschool children. The room is a wonderful place to play, talk, discuss parenting concerns, and in general, get to know families from Melrose and surrounding communities. North Shore Family Network

We help to build Strong Families by offering playgroups, story times, parent education groups, community and parenting resources, workshops and more!  You must live in Lynnfield, Malden, Melrose, North Reading, Reading, Stoneham, Wakefield, or Winchester to complete a screening.

Connect the Tots | Reading

Connect The Tots connects families in Reading, MA and surrounding communities through organized playgroups, member outings and local events. You must be a member to join ($25). www.connectthetots.org

Family Action Network | Winchester

FAN provides resources and a support network for parents in addition to organizing many activities for young children and parents alike.  As members, your family can participate in playgroups, educational programs, food and toy drives, playground meetups and cleanups and more.

Wakefield : Baby Cafe

Baby Café is a free program that brings lactation professionals and mothers together in a relaxed and social environment. Breastfeeding and pregnant mothers are welcome to attend.

Melrose Wakefield Hospital: Healthy Families

 Melrose-Wakefield  Home Visiting Initiative is a home visiting program available for first-time parents age 24 and under. LLL of North Shore

La Leche League provides breastfeeding information and support to those who want to breastfeed. LLL Leaders are volunteers who have breastfed their own children and have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International.  Leader volunteers are available via telephone and email for personalized help. 

Breastfeeding Support Group Stork Ready Cafe

Women are more successful at breastfeeding when they feel supported.  In-person support group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wed of the month from 10:30-11:30 at Stork Ready. Virtual Support Group meets on the 1st Friday of the month @12:30. For more breastfeeding help:
