The First Steps class is designed for children ages 3 to 5 years old as a way to introduce skating to young children in a fun group environment. Lessons are held by the Skating Academy at Cronin Memorial Rink.

The Boston Bruins’ Learn to Play program presented by Pure Hockey helps aspiring youth hockey players develop their skills. All players must be between the ages of 5-9 years old at the time of registration and be able to skate on their own, unaided.
